1 killed after fiery crash in Logan County

LOGAN COUNTY — One person was killed after a fiery crash Sunday morning in West Mansfield, according to a crash incident report.

Crews were called to respond to the crash around 5:56 a.m. on North Main Street., according to the report.

The crash report indicates a vehicle, driven by a 20-year-old man, was driving north on North Main Street, traveled off the left side of the roadway, and continued traveling north along side the roadway until striking a tree and becoming engulfed in flames.

The vehicle was estimated to have been going 100 miles per hour before crashing, according to reports.

The driver was reportedly ejected from the vehicle. The crash report indicates he was taken to an area hospital where he died from his injuries.
