JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP — One person was injured in a shooting in Montgomery County early Tuesday morning.

As reported on News Center 7 at 5, crews were dispatched to the area of Fortman Drive and Hackett Drive around 5:46 a.m. on reports of a shooting.

They found a man who had been shot in the leg in a crashed car.
The man shot can be heard in a 911 call obtained by News Center 7.
“My grandson got shot,” a woman tells dispatchers.
“Oh my god, I’m shot,” a man can be heard saying in the background of the call.
The man was taken to a local hospital, but deputies did not have information on his condition.
A second 911 call alleges the shooting started with an argument.
“They hit the trailer. The people were yelling at them across the street and they’re leaving!” the caller tells dispatchers.
A neighbor said they heard the shots and their heart breaks for the man shot and the grandmother who witnessed it on Christmas Eve.
News Center 7 has reached out to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office for additional information about suspects and the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
