HARRISON TOWNSHIP — One person was seriously injured after a crash in Harrison Township Sunday morning.

Around 10:15 a.m. deputies were called to Markey Road and Anniston Drive for reports of a crash with someone trapped, according to initial reports.

An initial investigation found a Buick Enclave was southbound on Markey Road approaching Anniston Drive when a Toyota Camry turned left from a stop sign in front of the Buick.
The driver of the Toyota had to be freed from their car and was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, according to deputies. That driver was also cited.
The driver of the Buick had minor injuries.
