CLAYTON — One person was taken to the hospital after being hit by a vehicle in Clayton Monday morning.
Montgomery County Regional dispatch confirmed crews were called to respond to the crash in the 3500 block of Sweet Potato Ridge Road. The crash was reported shortly before 7:50 a.m., according to initial reports.

According to dispatch records, a female was reportedly struck by a pick-up truck.
Medics transported the woman to an area hospital, dispatch confirmed. Additional details were not immediately available.
