DAYTON — One person has been taken to the hospital after crashing into a Dayton police cruiser on Interstate 75 early Saturday morning.
Montgomery County Regional Dispatch tells us Dayton officers were responding to a signal vehicle crash on I-75 around 3:16 a.m.
According to dispatch records, while crews were on the scene of the first crash, a second car failed to yield to emergency lights and hit one Dayton police cruiser.
The driver of the second car was taken to an area hospital for their injuries.

Dispatch confirms that no officers were injured as a result of the crash.
I-75 northbound has now reopened after being closed at North Main Street.
Further details have not been made available at this time.
