BEAVERCREEK — One person was taken to the hospital after a string of crashes, including a jackknifed semi-trailer on I-675 in Beavercreek Wednesday.

Around 4:30 p.m., Beavercreek police were called to an accident on I-675 North at Indian Ripple Road involving a semi-trailer, according to Sgt. Brian Cline with Beavercreek police.

Cline said that officers were already on the scene of an unrelated crash in the area and a tow company was taking away one of the vehicles.

At the same time, a semi had got on I-675 from Indian ripple and slowed traffic in the area caused him to slam on his breaks and hit the car stopped in front of him.

The semi then hit the two cars that were on the shoulder from the previous crash.
