FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP — Twelve-year-old Owen Lainhart from Franklin Township room was orange, the walls were filled with nothing but Bengals gear.
All 102 pieces of memorabilia that lined his walls are gone after a fire burned down his family’s home.
Owen’s grandmother Marsha Lainhart said that the family started collecting Bengals memorabilia 20 years ago and she can’t believe it’s all gone.
The only thing left is the memories.

A fire took away all of this just weeks before Cincinnati’s first trip to the Super Bowl in more than 30 years.
After every game, Owen used to go in his room and take a look at all the gear he’s collected he told News Center 7′s Molly Koweek.
The football that Owen got signed by the whole team, a jersey he got singed by AJ Green, a signed hat — reduced to ash.
Owen, his father, brother and grandmother have been living in a hotel ever since the electrical fire took their house.
Marsha finds it hard to be excited for her team during the loss of so much.

“I want to be excited, I am excited for the Bengals but you know, with our fire and everything else, I’m just depressed a little bit,” Marsha said.
Now in this difficult time, Owen and his family have to do what they admire most about his favorite team.
“They push through no matter what happens,” Owen said.
