U.S. 127 in Preble County reopens; 2 taken to hospital

UPDATE @ 11:15 a.m.:

U.S. Route 127 has reopened after a two-vehicle crash.

One vehicle went left of center and hit the other vehicle, according to Preble County Sheriff’s Office deputies.

Both drivers were transported to area hospitals with non-life threatening injures.

Limited visibility is a possible factor in the cause of the crash due to the fog, deputies.

This crash remains under investigation.

FIRST REPORT:

U.S. Route 127 is currently closed in both directions due to a two-vehicle crash.

The crash was reported around 9:30 a.m. near Camden Road.

Initial reports indicate one vehicle was on fire and the other was on its top. However, all occupants were reported out of the vehicles.
