DAYTON — Police have provided additional details about a shooting in Dayton on New Year’s Day.

News Center 7 previously reported that around 1:23 a.m. crews were dispatched to the 3900 block of Free Pike in Dayton on reports of a shooting.
Officers found a 19-year-old woman suffering from a gunshot wound, according to Lt. Steven Bauer with Dayton police.

The woman was shot during a fight at the location.
She was taken to the hospital and her injuries are described as “non-life-threatening,” Bauer said.
Information about suspects was not provided.
