1st Presidential Debate: How to watch, listen to debate tonight

CLEVELAND — The first of three debates between President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden will take place tonight at 9 p.m.

The debate is being held at Case Western Reserve University and Cleveland Clinic. News Center 7′s Jim Otte will be there bringing you Election 2020 coverage you can count on beginning on News Center 7 at 5 p.m., 6 p.m. and 11 p.m.

Here’s how you can watch or listen:

  • On WHIO-TV, Channel 7
  • On 1290 and 95.7 WHIO coverage will begin with a Debate pre-show during a special edition of The Evening Edge at 6:30 p.m. The Evening Edge will be followed by Live coverage of the Presidential Debate and on Wednesday morning a special edition of Miami Valley’s Morning News at 5 a.m.
  • On the WHIO mobile app.
  • On WHIO TV Now smart TV app, which is free on your Roku, Amazon Fire, Apple TV and Smart TV devices.
  • On the WHIO-TV Facebook page.

The debate topics selected for the first debate include:

  • The Trump and Biden Records
  • The Supreme Court
  • COVID-19
  • The Economy
  • Race and Violence in U.S. Cities
  • Election Integrity

Topics are subject to change because of news developments.

The format for the first debate will be six 15-minute time segments dedicated to the topics announced.
