KETTERING — Long-time Miami Valley politician, Peggy Lehner, stepped away from her duties at the Statehouse when her term ended in December.
Now she’s setting her sights on a new job, as Kettering’s City Mayor.
Lehner announced that she is running for Mayor of Kettering in a Facebook post Monday.
“Prior to my time in the Statehouse, I served on Kettering City Council from 1998 to 2008,” Lehner said in her post.
Kyle Boze, a Kettering teacher, is also in the running for city mayor.

Both Lehner and Boze will be on the ballot in November.
