2 dead, Bellbrook woman injured after crash on SR-48 in Clearcreek Township

CLEARCREEK TOWNSHIP — Two people are dead after a crash in Clearcreek Township Saturday evening.

Around 11:35 p.m. Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers and Clearcreek Township crews were called to the intersection of State Route 48 and East Lytle Five Points Road to reports of a crash.

An initial investigation found that a Kia driven by Mary Huelsman, 57, of Bellbrook, was traveling southbound on SR-48 and hit a Chevrolet that was traveling eastbound on Lytle Five Points Road.

The two cars went off the right side of the road and hit a wooden utility pole, according to a media release.

Huelsman was taken to Kettering Health with non-life-threatening injuries.

The two people inside the Cheverlet were pronounced dead at the scene.

The identity of these two people was not released by state troopers.
