Motorcycle hits woman changing tire in Jefferson Twp.

JEFFERSON TWP. — Two people have been injured in a crash in Montgomery County.

According to regional dispatch records, the crash happened near the intersection of Germantown Pike and Manning Road in Jefferson Twp. The crash was reported at 7:50 p.m.

According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, an initial investigation revealed that a vehicle heading south of Germantown Pike pulled to the side of the road with a flat tire. While the driver was trying to change the tire, she was hit by a motorcycle heading south on Germantown Pike.

The person changing the tire was transported to an area hospital in serious, but non-life threatening condition. The motorcyclist was transported with non-life threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
