MORAINE — Two people were killed and another critically hurt in a crash on Kettering Boulevard police said is believed to involve alcohol and drugs, according to a Moraine crash report.

Khusan Mamedov, 27, of Dayton was driving south in the 3000 block of Kettering Boulevard around 12:45 a.m. when he lost control and drove off the road, hitting a tree.

Mamedov and his front-seat passenger, Alizhan Ibragimov, 25, of Dayton, both were killed in the crash.

A second passenger was taken to Kettering Health Main Campus with critical injuries, the report showed.

Moraine police interviewed the surviving passenger at the hospital and he told police the three in the car had just left a wedding at a nearby banquet center and were heading home.

“He admitted that the three of them were drinking alcohol, specifically ‘taking shots’ and smoking marijuana at the wedding,” an officer wrote in an incident report.

Police said they also recovered suspected marijuana from the back pocket of Mamedova
