The Wendy’s on Ripple Road in Beavercreek and on Miamisburg Centerville Road in Miami Township have closed.

“A lot of people are coming through looking for Wendy’s, but then they just come to Tim Horton’s,” Anthony White, Tim Horton’s crew member said.

The Tim Horton’s is attached to the now-closed Wendy’s.

The Wendy’s closing was quick, and it wasn’t just customers stopping by wondering what happened.

“Somebody came in for an interview,” White said. “Just to be shocked to see it’s closed and has been for the last couple of days.

These locations have been removed from the company’s list of locations and their Google status of these locations is “permanently closed.”

Wendy’s has said that they will be opening new locations in areas where the company believes better business can be generated.

Although the Beavercreek location closed unexpectedly, Beavercreek’s Chamber of Commerce believes the closure will make space for future developments.

“It’s always difficult to see those businesses go,” Wendy Rodgers with the Beavercreek Chamber of Commerce said. “But I think it’s really important to note that the community continues to grow and evolve.”

It is unknown if the Wendy’s workers will have the option to relocate.
