Tipp City — Two people were injured after a shooting in Tipp City early Sunday morning.

Around 3:04 a.m. crews were dispatched to the 700 block of Comanche Lane on reports of a shooting.

According to Tipp City Police Chief Greg Adkins, two people were injured.
One person was shot in the ear and has non-life-threatening injuries.
The other person was shot in the stomach. They are in critical condition and need surgery, according to Adkins.
The preliminary investigation shows that during a party the suspect was handling a firearm and fired it in the house, hitting two people, according to Adkins.
Adkins said officers took one person into custody.
Miami County Jail records indicate that Javin Williams, 21, was arrested just after the shooting in the 700 block of Comanche Lane.
He is currently facing a preliminary charge of felonious assault.
News Center 7 is working to confirm that Williams was arrested in connection to the shooting.
Tipp City Police Department Captain Tony Smith says there is no known ongoing threat to the community.
