2 taken to hospitals after motorcycle hits person in Clark Co.

CLARK COUNTY — Two people have been taken to area hospitals after a motorcycle hit a person in Clark County early Saturday morning.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol told us crews responded to the accident on the 2700 block of Mahar Road just before 2:00 a.m.

According to a press release from OSHP, preliminary investigations show Daniel Wilder, 28, stopped on Mahar Rd. to help a disabled motorist.

While standing in the road, Wilder was hit by Lee Bair, 33, while he was driving his motorcycle.

Bair was thrown from his motorcycle and had to be flown to Miami Valley Hospital via CareFlight for his injuries.

Wilder was taken by ground transport to Kettering Health in Springfield, where he was then flown to Kettering Health Main Campus by CareFlight.
