MIAMI VALLEY — Music for All announced that it will be unable to present its 2020 Bands of America Championships due to continuous concerns about the coronavirus pandemic.

“The decision was recommended by the Music for All staff and affirmed by the Music for All Board of Directors,” the announcement stated.
“We are facing uncertain and unprecedented times, and the health, safety and wellness of the students, band directors, staff, volunteers, spectators, and others associated with our programs remain our number one priority.”
Although in-person championships won’t happen this year, Music for All says it remains committed to providing educational opportunities in the fall.
Several remote evaluation opportunities will be available in order to provide quality feedback.

Details on how to sign up for remote evaluation and virtual performance opportunities will be announced soon.
The board is working to organize the 2021 Bands of America Championship season, in order to announce the 2021 schedule and open registrations later this fall, they stated.
