MIAMISBURG — The man who shot someone in the mouth over a cigarette has learned his punishment.

Damarion Lee, 25, was sentenced to at least five years in prison on Wednesday in Montgomery County Commons Pleas Court, according to court records.
This came after he pleaded guilty to one count of felonious assault on Dec. 19. As part of the sentence, he will be on parole for up to three years.
As previously reported by News Center 7, the shooting happened on Feb. 19 in the 6300 block of Saxony Road.

Lee asked another person for a cigarette just before the shooting occurred.
The victim told him no. A few seconds later, the victim got shot in the mouth.

As part of last month’s plea, a second count of felonious assault was dismissed.
Lee had to forfeit the fire that was taken related to this case.
