3 hospitalized after crash in Dayton overnight

DAYTON — Three people were hospitalized following a crash in Dayton Monday overnight.

Dayton Police and Fire responded to an injury crash at the intersection of North Main Street and Ridge Avenue at 12:21 a.m., Montgomery County Regional Dispatch confirmed.

When emergency responders arrived, they found two vehicles crashed into one another at the intersection. The vehicle types were not disclosed to dispatch during the investigation.

Several people reported injuries, prompting firefighters to request more medics.

Three people involved in the crash were hospitalized. Two were transported to Miami Valley Hospital and one to Kettering Health Dayton. The severity of their injuries were unknown at the time of reporting.

The cause of the crash was under investigation by the Dayton Police Department.
