CLARK COUNTY — Three people have been transported to a local hospital after a crash in Clark County Saturday afternoon.
A two-vehicle accident happened just before 4:00 p.m. near the 3600 block of Old Columbus Road in Springfield.
Ohio State Highway Patrol Sergeant Ryan May told News Center 7 that a sedan and pick-up truck were traveling in opposite directions on Old Columbus Road. Preliminary investigation indicated one vehicle went left of center and struck the other.

Two occupants in the sedan were trapped and had to be extricated from the vehicle. They were transported to Springfield Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.
One occupant from the pick-up truck was also transported to Springfield Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.
The crash is under investigation.
