DAYTON — A man was seriously injured after crashing into a house in a Dayton neighborhood early Saturday morning, according to a spokesperson from the Dayton Police Department.

The crash occurred in the 5500 block of Gander Road South before 4 a.m.

An initial investigation found a man was driving a Jeep Renegade north on Honeyleaf Way when he failed to stop at a stop sign at Gander Road South.
The Jeep continued into the front yard and hit a house, according to the spokesperson.
Medics transported the man to an area hospital with a suspected serious injury.
He was cited for the crash.
Photos from the scene show a red car into a house, several firefighters and crime scene tape blocking the area.
The Dayton Police Department’s Traffic Services Unit is investigating this crash.
