ASHTABULA COUNTY — A 4-year-old girl was killed in a crash in Ashtabula County on Friday.

Troopers with the Ohio State Highway Patrol were called to Sexton Road in Austinburg Township around 1 p.m. Friday, CBS affiliate WOIO reported.

An SUV was driving south when it stopped at a stop sign. At the same time, a 16-year-old was driving west on Clay Street in a Jeep.
The SUV driver pulled out from the stop sign and the Jeep hit the SUV, WOIO reported.
The 4-year-old was in the backseat at the time of the crash and was taken to the hospital where she later died.
Both drivers were uninjured as a result of the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
