DAYTON — The Reynolds and Reynolds Company Foundation pledged $450,000 to the University of Dayton starting with the 2022-2023 academic year.

24 qualifying students will receive $6,250 per year beginning their sophomore year. The students can renew this scholarship each year while an undergrad at University of Dayton for a possible total of $18,750.
To qualify, the student must demonstrate a financial need and be enrolled at the School of Business Administration or in STEM programs.

The charitable foundation “want[s] to recognize the established students who excel, and are investing in their own education, by giving them some financial assistance,” David Shimek, senior vice president of corporate development at Reynolds and Reynolds, said.
“These scholarships will help put a UD education within reach for high-achieving students and help ensure they are able to take advantage of the industry-leading experiential learning opportunities we offer.” Trevor Collier, dean of the School of Business Administration, stated.
This scholarship expands the foundation’s donations to the university. The Reynolds and Reynolds Company Foundation has previously donated to the Fiore Talarico Center for Professional Selling, the Roger Glass Arts Center, and the Dean’s Fund for Excellence in the College of Arts & Sciences, the spokesperson said.
