CLEVELAND — A 66-year-old man convicted of shooting a 10-year-old boy at a home in Cleveland last February is scheduled to be sentenced Wednesday.

In December, 66-year-old George Zatik Jr. pleaded guilty to one count of child endangering and one count of assault, CBS affiliate WOIO-19 reported.

The shooting happened around 3 p.m. on Feb. 19, 2024, at a home in the 5100 block of Gifford Ave in Cleveland.
The 10-year-old boy, whose name has not been released, survived his injuries.
