GAHANNA, Ohio — Police have identified the man who was shot and killed at an Ohio Subway restaurant last week.

71-year-old Gary Frantz was identified as the victim of a shooting on Dec. 20 in the Subway in the StoneRidge Plaza in Gahanna, our news partners WBNS-10 TV reported.

News Center 7 previously reported that officers found a man on the floor with an apparent gunshot wound upon arrival.
The man, later identified as Frantz, was pronounced dead at the scene.
He was a customer of the restaurant and was shot in the head with a semi-automatic pistol while he was standing in line to order food, according to police.
Deputy Chief of Police Jeffrey Lawless said the suspect, 30-year-old William Marshall, was found outside of the restaurant, sitting on the curb without any clothes on and with his hands in the air.
According to a police complaint obtained by WBNS-10 TV, Marshall was charged with aggravated murder in connection to the shooting.
It is still unclear at this time what led up to the shooting.
