DAYTON — Fire crews responded to the scene of an apartment fire in Dayton early Friday morning.
Initial emergency scanner traffic reported crews responding to the fire on Pointview Avenue around 2:36 a.m.

When crews arrived at the scene, they reported seeing heavy fire showing from the building.
According to the Montgomery Regional Dispatch Center, eight people have been displaced due to the fire.
