COLUMBUS — One person was critically injured after they were reportedly shot near John Glenn Columbus International Airport Thursday morning, according to CBS affiliate WBNS.
The shooting happened at East 5th Avenue and North Yearling Road near the BP gas station around 5:45 a.m.
This is around three miles from the airport.

A public safety dispatcher told WBNS the shooting victim was taken to Mount Carmel East Hospital in critical condition.
Based on 911 calls that WBNS obtained a 911 caller described the incident as a “road rage” shooting and that someone in a red Porche pulled over and fired multiple rounds toward the victim.
Police continue to investigate and have not provided any more details.
