As some return from their Labor Day weekend trip, it may be handy to know the best time to get on the road.
This holiday weekend AAA said the number of drivers on the road will be close to the same amount as before the pandemic.
According to ‘The Vacationer’, around 92 million Americans would be hitting the roads this weekend.

AAA said it’s best to leave before 10:00 a.m. because most people will be leaving before then to be prepared for work tomorrow.
News Center 7 Kayla McDermott spoke with Jerod Turner, a retail manager with AAA, and he said it may be the best time to fill up on gas before your trip.
“First thing in the morning usually, generally speaking, that’s when the gas is cheap is to although it’s not cheap at any point right now, but yeah, first thing in the morning,” said Turner.
