The case for the wrong-way crash that led to the death of 23-year-old Paige Patrick of Vandalia went before a grand jury on Wednesday, Beavercreek police said.
Police suspect alcohol was a factor on the part of Myer, who police said was driving the wrong way onto I-675 North from the exit for state route 844 on June 21 when he smashed into a car driven by Patrick.

Police said they have video that shows the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base civilian employee going the wrong way on the 844 ramp from I-675 shortly before the crash.
Haller sought the public’s help in July to determine what Myer may have been doing prior to the crash.
