Air Force Marathon prices set to increase after Independence Day

WRIGHT- PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE — Time is running out to register for the Air Force Marathon before prices go up.

Participants have until July 5 to register at a discounted rate for the marathon at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, according to a media release.

Starting July 6, races will cost the following:

• $125 for the full marathon
• $115 for the half marathon
• Tailwind Trot for kids will increase to $25
• Fly! Fight! Win! Challenge Series will increase to $230 for the full marathon option and $220 for the half-marathon option
• The three-person Marathon Relay will increase to $230

Active duty, reservists, guard members, veterans, retired military and ROTC cadets may receive discounts of $5-$10.

A final price increase will also take place on Sept. 14. The last day to register is Sept. 15.

The race is set for Sept. 16 at the National Museum of U.S. Air Force.
