MIAMI TWP., Montgomery County — Investigators suspect alcohol is involved in a deadly pedestrian crash on Lyons Road over the weekend, where a man was killed, according to Miami Twp. Officer Pat McCoy.
Christopher Roche II, 25, of West Carrollton died in the crash around 5:45 a.m. Saturday.

According to dispatch records, a 911 call was placed that described the victim as “just standing in the middle of the road” before he was struck by a vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle that hit Roche is suspected of being under the influence of alcohol, however charges are pending results of laboratory tests. Roche also is believed to have been under the influence of alcohol, McCoy said.
Lyons near the I-75 overpass was closed for a couple hours while investigators conducted their investigation.
