UPDATE @ 1:20 a.m. (Nov. 28): Deputies have seized the red Chevrolet SUV believed to have been stolen in the home invasion and abduction in Harrison Twp. on Tuesday night.
News Center 7 was there when the vehicle was taken by flatbed tow truck from a residence on Oak Street in Trotwood just after midnight.
There was no word about the three suspects sought in the incident on Monroe Avenue in Harrison Twp., but we are working to learn about any update in the investigation.
EARLIER UPDATE (Nov. 27)
Deputies are searching for three men and a red Chevrolet Equinox with Indiana plates believed to be connected to a home invasion and abduction on Monroe Avenue.
The Indiana license plate reads 226 RMA, sheriff’s deputies said.
A man called 9-1-1 and said the three men were masked when they barged into the house and held his family at gunpoint.

The crime was reported around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday.
“They took my wife and my car,” the man told 9-1-1 dispatchers. “They almost shot my one-year-old son.”
The man said the robbers took four guns, his debit card, television, gaming system and other items from inside the house before abducting his wife. They also shot his dog before leaving, deputies said.
‘We literally have no money, I don’t know why they’re doing this,” the man said as he tried to comfort his children.
Fifteen minutes later a woman called 9-1-1 when the man’s wife showed up at her house on Bellvue Avenue, which is about three miles away.
“She seems genuinely scared,” the woman told dispatchers. “Could you please send someone really quickly.”
The man’s wife told deputies the robbers dropped her off in an alley in the 500 block of Bellvue before speeding off in the Equinox.
“He had me pull into an alley and he was holding a gun to my head,” the wife told 9-1-1 dispatchers. “They had me lay down behind some trash cans. I thought he was going to shoot me.”
Deputies said prior to dropping the woman off, the robbers forced her to drive to an ATM on West Siebenthaler Avenue and withdraw money.
