MONTGOMERY COUNTY — Families in Montgomery County looking to find a good sledding spot will have fewer options today.

Five Rivers MetroParks announced Monday morning that all of their parks and facilities would be closed today. This includes the sledding hills at Germantown, Englewood, and Taylorsville MetroParks, as well as the ice rink at RiverScape MetroPark.

“The opening of parks and facilities will be delayed until conditions improve and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office returns the county to a level 1 snow emergency,” a spokesperson for Five Rivers MetroParks said.
