All lanes are back open on U.S. 35 Westbound after a shooting in Dayton Thursday morning.

Officers and medics responded just before 1 a.m. to U.S. 35 WB on initial reports of a shooting, according to a Dayton Police Sergeant.
Photos from the scene show that officers closed Westbound U.S. 35 at Steve Whalen Boulevard while they investigated the shooting.
All lanes reopened just after 3 a.m.
The sergeant told our News Center 7 crew at the scene that a car was traveling on U.S. 35 WB. The initial investigation indicates that another car passed him and shot the driver.
Medics transported the victim to Miami Valley Hospital with unknown injuries.
