UPDATE: Amber Alert canceled for 4 year old out of Akron, authorities say child ‘returned unharmed’

AKRON — A Statewide Amber Alert has been canceled for a 4-year-old boy out of Akron.

An Amber Alert was issued Monday for Fabian Claudio from the Akron area.

WKYC in Cleveland said the child was “returned unharmed” to Akron detectives about an hour after he was reported missing.

The suspect was identified Jose Castro, according to the alert he was considered armed and dangerous.

Castro, Claudio’s father, took the boy from his home on Tulip Street around 6:50 p.m, according to our news partners at WBNS.
