KETTERING — UPDATE @ 6:52 a.m.:
St. Charles Borromeo Church School has been closed due to the burst water main, according to our crew on the scene.
>> OSHP pursuit ends with car dragging its front on the ground
The water has been shut off and the road is open. However, now there is a large hole in the ground around the leak.
INITIAL REPORT
Water poured onto Ackerman Boulevard in Kettering after a water line apparently burst early this morning.
In photos from Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Jesse Maag, who was driving in the area, water can be seen gushing from a median into the road and running downhill in front of the St. Charles Borromeo School.
Our crew on the scene reported that police have arrived on scene and are closing the road.
The water in the road is just around the corner from Archbishop Alter High School.
