GREENE COUNTY — Many area boards of elections are seeing higher voter turnout already.

News Center 7′s Taylor Robertson spoke with several election officials who said the high numbers are because of polarizing issues on the ballot.

There have been over 3,000 people who placed their early vote at the Greene County Board of Elections.

“We’ve seen a lot of people coming in,” Alisha Lampert, Greene County Board of Elections director said.

As well as an increase in people requesting absentee ballots.

Interest in Issue 1 and Issue 2.
