Armed robbery reported at Domino’s Pizza in Dayton

DAYTON — Authorities are investigating after an armed robbery occurred at Domino’s Pizza Sunday morning.

Initial reports indicate crews were dispatched to the restaurant, located at 531 Wilmington Avenue, at approximately 7:28 a.m.

The alleged robber reportedly entered the store wearing a face mask, displayed a small handgun, and demanded money.

The suspect also reportedly locked the employees in the cooler during the robbery, according to emergency scanner traffic.

The suspect, who’s only described as a tall, thin male, fled in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of cash.

A K-9 was requested to the scene to assist officials in their search of the area.
