A second victim was taken to Miami Valley Hospital with injuries believed to be life threatening, but no condition information was available Monday.
A 911 caller on the scene reported he was asleep when he heard someone breaking into his house.
The caller said that he did not know the suspect and was unable to give a description of the suspect or the gun, but reported that he had been shot.
Turner was released from prison in August after he was convicted in a carjacking case, where he later recorded himself on Facebook Live fleeing from police.
