FAIRBORN — An arson investigation is underway after a house fire in Fairborn Sunday afternoon.

As previously reported by News Center 7, Fairborn firefighters responded around noon to a house fire at the 2000 block of Henry Street.

Someone reported they thought they heard shots fired and saw a house on fire, according to Fairborn Police Sgt. Nathan Penrod.
A lieutenant told our News Center 7 crew that no one was injured in the fire.
Fairborn Police are treating the house fire as an arson investigation.
Penrod told News Center 7 that they suspect the fire was intentionally set.
A suspect has been identified, but no charges have been filed.
