Kayla Anderson, 15, was one of four people killed during a shooting in Butler Township on August 5.

In the days after the shooting, people who knew Kayla got together to remember her.

They released balloons in her honor and two Miami County high schools held a soccer match to raise money for the Butler Township shooting victims.

The district’s school superintendent, Robert O’Leary, called Kayla, “A Ray of Light.”
