Back to School: Northeastern Local Schools begin in-person classes today

CLARK COUNTY — Starting today Northeastern Local Schools will begin in-person classes after previously doing a hybrid learning model.

The student will be in class Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Wednesdays will be used to clean and sanitize the buildings.

In-person classes will be held through October 9. From there, the district will consider returning to a five-day school week.

If students opted for the “Virtual Plan” they’ll stay online Monday through Friday.

Twin Valley schools in Preble county will also resume in-person learning today. this comes as the county dropped from ‘red’ on the COVID risk level chart to orange.

All students, teachers, and staff members are expected to follow the health departments COVID guidelines,

They all must wear masks, social distance, and take responsibility for extra cleaning precautions.

Parents are asked to take students' temperatures before they leave home.
