Base reinstates Trusted Traveler program following suspension after New Orleans, Las Vegas attacks

WRIGHT PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE — Wright Patterson Air Force Base has reinstated the Trusted Traveler program after suspending it earlier this month.

The base suspended the program on Jan. 3, in the wake of the attacks in New Orleans and Las Vegas.

TRENDING STORIES:

The Trusted Traveler Program allows uniformed service members, their dependents (over age 16), DoD employees, and retired uniformed service members and spouses with valid Department of Defense identification cards to vouch for vehicle occupants entering the base.

Acceptable forms of DOD identification include a Common Access Card and Registered Real ID.
