CALIFORNIA — Major League Baseball hall-of-famer and all-time stolen base leader Rickey Henderson has died at 65, according to the MLB.

Henderson passed away in Oakland, California after battling pneumonia, TMZ reports.

Henderson holds the MLB’s all-time stolen base record at approximately 1,406 and the all-time runs record at 2,295.
He played with nine teams throughout his 25-year career. He spent the most time with Oakland A’s.
Henderson is the 1990 American League MVP and a 2-time World Series Champion.
