Beavercreek approves plans for new Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers near Fairfield Commons

BEAVERCREEK — Plans for a new Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers restaurant were approved unanimously by city council Monday night.

The new restaurant will be built on the same lot where the Verizon store by the Mall at Fairfield Commons is currently located. The Verizon location would be demolished following the cell phone carrier’s move to the former IHOP restaurant near Target on North Fairfield Road, plans show.

The 3,152 square-foot restaurant would feature a two-lane drive thru, indoor seating and an outdoor patio.

An opening date for the restaurant has not yet been announced.
