Beavercreek police collecting food donations for local nonprofit Saturday

BEAVERCREEK — Beavercreek police are gearing up to collect donations to help people in the community who are facing food insecurity.

Officers will be at Kroger on Dayton-Xenia Road Saturday, June 17, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. collecting non-perishable food items for Feed the Creek.

“Your donation will make a direct impact on local families and individuals facing food insecurity,” Beavercreek police said in a social media post.

Feed the Creek is a nonprofit organization that works to provide food for children, families, and “little pantries” in the city.

According to Feed the Creek, there are 23 “little pantries” in Beavercreek.
