DAYTON — A bicyclist was seriously injured after they were hit by a car in Dayton Monday night, according to a spokesperson from the Dayton Police Department.

The crash happened at Salem Avenue and Otterbein Avenue before 7:20 p.m.

A silver PT Cruiser and the bicyclist were heading north on Salem Avenue at the time of the crash.
Officers on scene determined that the driver didn’t see the bicyclist and hit them, the said spokesperson.
Medics took the bicyclist to an area hospital with suspected serious injuries.
