VANDALIA — Some people are under a boil advisory after a water main break in Vandalia.

It affects residents living on Wollenhaupt Avenue, the city posted on its social media page.
“The advisory is in effect until Tuesday. Impacted residents have received a hand-delivered notice of the advisory,” they said.

The water main break has been fixed.
Those in the advisory area are asked to boil water before drinking it, washing their hands, or brushing their teeth, the city said.
Residents have also been asked to turn off the ice maker and not use it until the boil advisory is lifted.
