Boy, 13, seriously hurt after being hit by vehicle in Troy

TROY — Troy police are looking for whoever hit a 13-year-old boy riding his bike on Harrison Street this afternoon.

The crash happened near the bike path on Harrison around 1 p.m.

The boy was seriously hurt in the crash, however officers said they need help finding the person who hit him.

The vehicle police are looking for is possibly an older white pickup truck that could have a missing side mirror.

The boy’s family is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the driver.
